The Devil’s Elbow.

On the back of this postcard is printed; “The Queen’s Car at the Devil’s Elbow, Perthshire.  The Queen is on her way to Balmoral with Prince Philip driving, negotiating the notorious double bend on the Cairnwell road between Blairgowrie and Braemar.”

It also says “Having a nice holiday in Perthshire. I hope you are all keeping well and hoping to see you sometime soon. Best wishes from Jean”.  Funny the things we say on postcards.  That was to Mrs Hawkins in Southend-on-Sea in September 1963.

The car is a Daimler but I’m not sure of the exact model.
