Scottish Rootes.

Scan10001

Elie Harbour, Scotland in the early sixties with three Rootes Group cars sitting side by side admiring the view.

I wasn’t sure exactly what these cars were, suspecting a Singer Vogue in the middle and either a Hillman Minx or Singer Gazelle left and right, but asked if anyone knew.  John Whiteman came to the rescue – “The one in the middle is a Hillman Super Minx, flanked by a Sunbeam Rapier on the left and a Hillman Minx on the right.  The Singers had separate rear lights.”  Thanks, John!
